Just Released! $1.7M Recovered: A Forensic Look at Force Account Tagging 

The BART Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has released a new investigation report examining contractor billing practices on a major capital project.

The investigation resulted in $1.7 million recovered through settlements with contractors after identifying serious weaknesses in how time-and-materials charges were verified and approved.
